A luminous ceiling
The bathroom is lit by the ceiling which perfectly illuminates the space and highlights the recent renovation.
A small space is created between the walls and the ceiling and a LED strip is installed all around the room.
A small niche with integrated lighting has been fitted above the bathtub which provides additional storage space while masking pipes and other ventilation ducts.
ceiling indirect lighting
The metal structure is created all around the room leaving a space of about 10cm between the walls and the newly created structure.
The construction technique is similar to that of a lighting box. First fix the studs in the ceiling and build the rest of the frame with, at each corner, a large Kinook block connected to 4 small blocks as per image on the right
The plasterboards of the ceiling are fixed on the framework and a structure is built on the wall to hide the ventilation ducts and create, at the same time, a small niche.
